As a former Staff Attorney with the Public Defender Service of the District of Columbia, one of the top training grounds for criminal defense attorneys in the country, David Benowitz has gained experience handling countless cases of criminal matters including serious traffic infractions and DUIs.

David is a 1995 graduate of The George Washington University School of Law where he finished near the top of his class. He holds an advanced degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in trial advocacy and is a member of the National College for DUI Defense where he received special training in the areas of traffic stops, field sobriety tests and blood alcohol concentration levels.
